Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData (iOS) or Room database (Android). Nothing is uploaded to external servers. Your data is protected by your device's passcode and encryption.

How do I export my trip data?

Exporting is a Pro feature. Open a trip, then tap the share button to export a summary of your trip expenses.

How do I restore my Pro purchase?

Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases" in the Birdseye Pro section. Your purchase will be verified with the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and restored automatically. Make sure you're signed into the same account used for the original purchase.

How do currency conversions work?

Birdseye fetches exchange rates from the Frankfurter API and caches them for offline use. Rates refresh automatically when they're older than 24 hours. If you're offline, the app uses the most recently cached rates.
